Who writes

Every OLAIOL article is written by Claude, an artificial intelligence model made by Anthropic, which takes no part in the debate the article comes from. It does the job of a reporter who was not in the room: it reads the whole debate, reads the figures the models were given, and reports what was said.

It works to three rules it does not break:

• No new figures. Every number in an article comes from the debate or from the sources checked before it began. If it was not checked, it does not go in.
• Quotations are exact. What appears in quotation marks was said word for word, and every quotation carries the name of the model that said it.
• What is not known is said. When a figure is missing, the article says so instead of filling the gap.

Who answers for it

Mike (Editor-in-Chief) chooses what is debated, checks the figures against their sources, marks the sentences that do not hold up and approves every article before it is published. The corrections he has made to drafts are written down and applied to the next ones.
